7. Details of consultative committees and other bodies

(a) General Body Committee
        The general supervision of BRLPS activities vest with the general body presided by the Development Commissioner of Govt. of Bihar. The general body provides overall policy guidelines and directions for the efficient functioning of the state society in fulfilling its vision and objectives. General body have 15 members from different Govt.departments, one representative from Bankers, one representative from national level NGOs/Civil Society, one representative from Industry and Business associations working for empowerment and livelihoods.

(b) Executive Committee
        The Executive Committee controls and manages the business and the affairs of the society and have all advisory executions and financial powers to conduct the affairs of state society through its Member Secretary. All the duties, powers, functions and 13 rights, whatsoever consequential and incidental to the carrying on of the objectives of the state society shall only be exercised or performed by the executive committee.

In particular, executive committee considers-
• Consider the annual budget and annual action Plan, its subsequent alteration placed before it by the Member Secretary from time to time and pass it with such modifications as the executive committee may think fit.
• Accepts donations and endowment and give grants up on such terms and conditions as it may think fit.

(c) Suggestions from public may also be given to the CEO, BRLPS on different matters by letters or      through email on his official mail id – ceo@brlp.in
